Feasibility study on AR guided tours in the National Museum of China

Abstract


Cultural and museum tour are increasingly attractive to tourists, while traditional guided tour cannot meet the diverse
tourism needs of tourists. Based on information technology and the Internet of Things�augmented reality (AR) technology provides a
completely new way for guided tour. Within the National Museum of China, specifi c cultural relics are selected for AR tours, which could
closer visitors and cultural relics. This article aims to investigate the feasibility of conducting AR guided tours within the National Museum
of China.
