The Introduction of the Special Issue The knowledge of PVT relations and phase behavior of reservoir fluids are very important in reservoir engineering in developing more efficient techniques to increase hydrocarbon recovery. Enhancement recovery from the oil and gas fields requires accurate PVT data gathered at the reservoir conditions. Although, much progress has been made in development of modern organic chemistry, adequate experimental data are not available. In addition, the experimental measurements of PVT data are expensive and time consuming and sometimes their validity is doubtful. Therefore, PVT models have attracted a lot of attentions. Among these, EoSs are presented as the most important tools.
