The Introduction of the Special Issue There is no doubt that the climate change is going to affect the sustainable development of aquaculture worldwide. Aquaculture is a significant contributor to food and nutrition security and the livelihoods of rural communities.Thus, there is a need to strengthening a regulatory frameworks and adaptive capacities, the ecosystem approach to aquaculture, integrated aquaculture systems, climate-resilient practices and techniques along the aquaculture supply chains to help aquaculture stakeholders to adapt to climate change by understanding and reducing vulnerabilities, piloting new practices and technologies.

All submissions will be subject to the journal’s standard peer review process. Criteria for acceptance include originality, contribution, scientific merit and relevance to the field of interest of the Special Issue.
