The Introduction of the Special Issue

This special issue will be about Agriculture and Diseases, and will attract research papers and review articles on this topic. This issue can touch major portions of agriculture like genetic diversity, plant breeding & genetics, effect of diseases on animal and plants whether viral, bacterial or fungal, and study of disease resistance in them. The importance of this special issue is to completely understand about the agriculture and the diseases affecting it severely. We can also understand the research processes involved in the improvement and development of agriculture.

Submitted articles should not be published or under review elsewhere. All submissions will be subject to the journal’s standard peer review process. Criteria for acceptance include originality, contribution, scientific merit and relevance to the field of interest of the Special Issue.

Aejaz Ahmad Dar

Dr. Aejaz Ahmad Dar completed his Ph.D degree from School of Life Sciences, Department of Biotechnology, Pondicherry Central University, India. Currently he is doing his Post doctorate funded by DST-SERB in School of Biotechnology, SKUAST-J, India. He has right now about 4 years of research experience with 10+ international publications including research papers, review articles and book chapters. Besides he got many research awards and fellowships in his field. In addition, he is also editorial board member of many Journals. His interest and specialization is Agricultural Biotechnology, plant disease resistance, Genomics and Transcriptomics. His ultimate goal is to remain serious and active in any scientific move so that he can be a good part of scientific community whether as a scientist, reviewer or chief editor.
