The Introduction of the Special Issue

In daily life, human faces massive data, mainly social media data, which distributed become structured data and unstructured data, and plainly that It is easy to deal with structured data which are formed with row and column. On the other hand, it is not easy to deal for unstructured data such as text, voice, image, and movie where need to be changed become structured data in order to make easy its process.

Obviously, dealing with those huge data will need high-end computer’s resources, and at the end of the day, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms need to be extended into parallel processing. All the AI algorithms such as Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning need to be extended in parallel condition including optimization algorithms such as Evolutionary algorithm(EA), Differential Evolution (DE), Genetic Algorithm (GA), Memetic Algorithm (MA) , Dragonfly algorithm(DA) and so forth.

The extension of AI algorithms into parallel conditions will increase the performance and at the end of the day will help human for dealing in massive data. For example, intelligent surveillance, tracking, and crowdsourcing processes will be easy to be applied when in parallel conditions.

Moreover, current hardware is equipped with more than one core processor such as dual-core, quad-core, octa core, and running nonparallel AI algorithms will make the non-single-core hardware in vain.

Thus, extension the AI algorithms into parallel condition will use the non-single-core hardware effectively, where each core processor will fully running at the same time for increasing performance purpose.
